Perspective | Education Empowered: Exploring blended learning with the experts

Rethink Education is a program supported by the Office of Virtual Instruction Services on the Department of Public Instruction. Rethink Education professional improvement supplies educators with the tools and methods they need to implement blended learning fashions in their school rooms.   

Education Empowered is a podcast developed as part of Rethink Education. The podcast is designed to highlight North Carolina trainer voices and usher in experts in blended learning like Dr. Catlin Tucker and Jake Miller to address the wants of scholars and educators. Kristine Barberio and Betsy Hicks, regional ambassadors of this work, host the show, providing perception into how this program is remodeling teaching and empowering students.

The show covers subjects starting from constructing classroom neighborhood to assembly social-emotional must providing relevant suggestions and grading habits, student groupings, and engagement.

Next on the podcast will be a series on how blended studying serves particular populations including exceptional children, gifted kids, multilingual learners, students un alternative schooling, migrant youngsters, navy families, McKinney-Vento eligible students, and different teams with unique needs.
